Wild Oats Bakery & Cafe was started in 1991 by David & Becky Shepherd with the intention of providing a central meeting place, where all would be welcome. With a focus on environmental and social responsibility and a desire to provide clean, all-natural and from-scratch products, they set up Wild Oats in a small space at the Tontine Mall in Brunswick.
